The business was started in 1983 by Malcolm and Ann Spaul, after 10 years their son Alastair joined the business and it went from strength to strength. Jonathan joined in 1995 and it was a real family affair with Malcolm and his two sons. Later Alastair’s wife, Jo, started to help out on a part time basis and then Malcolm retired. It is now Alastair, Jo and Jonathan. We have one part time member of staff (Kevin) to help with collating orders.

Our range has grown over the years and we try to respond to public demand.
The business has grown year-on-year and we concentrate on village stores, rural post offices, mini markets, garage forecourts.
We can supply almost all of our products in single quantities, which we feel is our main selling point and is certainly very helpful for the smaller shops.
Meet The Team
Alastair (the boss!) joined the business in 1992, when he left the army. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, going away in his caravan or paddleboarding. He also volunteers as a scout leader locally.
Jonathan joined the business later in 1995 and he loves his cars. He is particularly fond of a Porsche. He enjoys going to car rallies.
Jo (Alastair’s wife) joined when their children arrived and could be flexible around childcare. When not at work she also enjoys family time, going away in the caravan and particularly spending time at the beach, she enjoys cross stitch and walking.
Kevin helps us out three mornings a week but would prefer to be spending his time on a golf course or fishing!!
